What maintenance is suggested for my business’s overhead doors?
While we suggest a certified technician like ours undertake any major repairs, there are some steps your team can take to maintain garage doors. They are:
- Perform visual inspections to look for damage or wear to springs, rollers, or silicone parts.
- Lubricate your overhead door track a few times each year. Ask a garage door technician for the suggested schedule and lubrication for your doors.
- Test that each door operates as expected. This includes checking the balance, the opener reversing, and the photo eye.
- If you have a painted door, periodically paint the exterior to help protect it from the elements.
If the door is noisy, hard to lift, uneven, or does not reverse like it should, stop using it and call County Garage Door Co to inspect and repair your door.
What safety features are included in a garage door?
We take the safety standards established by the Underwriters Laboratories (UL), a global safety science and certification company, and ASTM International, a standards organization, very seriously in protecting not just vehicles, but our clients, their families and pets as well.
Most homeowners are familiar with photo eyes, but there are other safety features available as well. At the time of installation, we will be happy to discuss the safety features we offer.
Do you offer a warranty?
We offer a 1 year limited warranty on workmanship. County Garage Door Co. warrants that the installation performed by its employees shall be free from defects in workmanship, under normal use and service, for a period of one year from the date of installation. Installations performed at Commercial, Industrial and/or Multi-family Dwellings will be warranted against defects in workmanship for a period of one year from the installation.
